Climate as the origin of a new vertical architecture
The tower emerges from the reinterpretation of the environmental and spatial strategies inherent to the traditional architecture of the Arabian Gulf. Mass, shadow, the depth of the envelope, and the construction of intermediate spaces recover vernacular principles of climatic control in order to redefine the relationship between interior and exterior within the contemporary vertical context of Dubai.
The architecture is organized around an autonomous circular geometry enclosed by an inhabitable climatic envelope that simultaneously acts as structure, protection, and environmental filter. Beyond function and image, the project proposes an alternative model for the skyscraper, where climate, matter, and habitability constitute a single integrated system, capable of constructing comfort through architectural form itself.
